Registration

Registration and payment for NELS42 will take place online. Registration fees follow the schedule shown below (in Canadian dollars). Your registration payment will be securely processed by PayPal, but a PayPal account is not required -- you may pay using any credit card, or a PayPal account if you have one.

Your registration fee includes breakfast and coffee/snack breaks each day of the conference as well as admission to the banquet on November 12. Your banquet ticket includes two drink vouchers and free admission to all exhibits at the Bata Shoe Museum, our banquet venue. You will also receive wi-fi access throughout the U of T campus.

Our funding agency, SSHRC, requires us to waive the registration fee for student presenters who are Canadian citizens and all students from the University of Toronto. Regrettably, financial considerations prevent us from extending this subsidy to other students. Canadian student presenters and U of T students must still pay a reduced fee to cover hospitality costs (i.e. catering for coffee breaks and the banquet), which our SSHRC funding does not cover.

In addition to the registration fee, there is also an option to order a bag lunch for the poster session, which is taking place at lunchtime on November 11. The cost is $10. Due to our caterer's deadline, bag lunch orders will only be accepted until October 27.

If you wish to bring a guest to the banquet, you may order an extra banquet ticket for $45.

If you have any accessibility requirements or dietary restrictions, please indicate them in the relevant portion of the registration form. If you have any other questions about registration, please email us at nels42@chass.utoronto.ca.
