The Linguistics Department University of Toronto Phonetics Lab is used by faculty and graduate students conducting research in the areas of speech production, speech perception, acoustics, and phonetic language documentation. It hosts a sound-attenuated recording booth and various audio recording and articulatory research equipment (such as articulography, electroglottography, electropalatography, nasalance, and ultrasound tongue imaging).
