Description
The LGCU Social Committee is excited to announce the upcoming Linguistics Coffeehouse 2025. This is an informal show featuring various art performances from department members, with baked goods, coffee, and tea available for purchase (cash or e-transfer). All proceeds will go to the Comunidad Lingüística Itza' (Itza' Linguistic Community), an organization working for the revitalization of the Mayan language Itza' in Guatemala. The funds will go towards recording Itza' speakers in order to add these recordings to the Itza' digital grammar. You will be able to contribute by cash or e-transfer to jack.mahl77@gmail.com.
All department members (staff, faculty, students) are welcome.
If you plan on attending, please complete this form by Thursday, March 27th. This will help us buy the correct amount of snacks and drinks.
