Earlier this Fall 2024, Linguistics students in LIN458 (taught by Dr Ryan DeCaire) had a poster session where they showcased their research on different language revitalization efforts in the Canadian context.
Some of the languages featured were Anishinaabemowin, Shoshoni, Onʌyote’a:ká:, Plains Indigenous Sign Language, and Tłı̨chǫ Yatıì, among others.
